Purchasing and Planning Department

Manufacturing Resource Planning Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Under the direct supervision of the Purchasing and Planning Manager, leads, administers, plans, and controls the day-to-day operations of the Planning Section in accordance with the Planning Quality Management System (QMS).

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4-year business course with at least 5 years work experience in a high volume operation, 2 years of which in a supervisory capacity, preferably gained from the field of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing.

 
Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) Specialist

Job Summary:

  • Under the direct supervision of the Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) Officer, performs the day-to-day conduct of activities performing planning functions for assigned brands in accordance with the Planning Quality Management System (QMS).

Job Specifications:

  • Graduate of Industrial Engineering, or any related courses
  • With at least 1-3 years relevant work experience in reorder point type of planning, inventory
    replenishment,preferably from the field of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing
  • Well Adept in MS Excel
  • Highly Analytical

 
Project Staff Logistics

Responsibilities:

  • Under the direct supervision of the Logistics Officer, will be responsible for all inventories, logistics and certain administration tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree
  • Atleast 6 months related experience
  • Experience in FMCG/Logistic company is advantage
  • With warehouse transactions/ inventory related experience
  • Knowledgeable in Warehouse management system
  • with good analytical skills
  • willing to shifting schedule, to work on holidays and weekend (skeletal schedule)

 
Inventory Control Staff

Responsibilities:

  • Under the close supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, ensures that all system transactions are executed based on standard system protocol; provides assistance in the conduct of periodic inventory/cycle counts and corresponding reconciliation activities.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree
  • Atleast 6 months related experience
  • Experience in FMCG/Logistic company is advantage
  • With warehouse transactions/ inventory related experience

Sr. Purchasing Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Under the close supervision of the Purchasing Officer, performs procurement activities for assigne brands and/or materials to ensure that all procurements needed are readily available with the right quality, desired quantity, right price and in accordance with the Purchasing Quality Management System

Qualifications:

  • College graduate of any 4-year business course with at least 2 years related work experience in the same function – specific to being a Technical Buyer preferably gained from fast moving consumer goods manufacturing industry.

 
Project Staff Logistics

Responsibilities:

  • Under the direct supervision of the Logistics Officer, will be responsible for all inventories, logistics and certain administration tasks.

Sales Order Encoder

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the SO Supervisor, the position is responsible for generating, preparation and distribution of delivery documents to Third Party Logistics Service Provider.

  • Prints delivery documents from GCI’s system and ensures saving of system generated documents for reference;
  • Compiles and attaches needed delivery documents (Sales Invoice, Delivery Receipts, Customer’s Purchase Order, Special Instructions, Cover Page based on set guidelines
  • Validates details in PAR Summary per customer (For Loading) with that of prepared delivery documents
  • Coordinates with other SO Encoder if there’s a need to adjust delivery document details
  • Prints invoice Transmittal & Validates details vis-a-vis actual Delivery Document Details
  • Distributes delivery documents based on established guidelines to Third Party Logistics Service Providers
  • Ensures Third Party Logistics Service Provider’s acknowledgement of delivery documents through signing off in the invoice transmittal
  • Ensures timely & orderly filing of necessary documents
  • Ensures timely endorsement of specific delivery documents to GCI Finance-AR group in line with collection requirements
  • Monitors replenishment of forms & other office supplies on agreed lead time
  • Performs other functions which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Qualifications:

College Graduate of any course.

  • Has at least 6 months of work experience in the related field.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Alabang or in Paranaque City.
  • Open to shifting, working in holidays and weekend schedule

 
Project Staff Purchasing

Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Purchasing Officer, prepares, maintains, and safe keeps all purchasing related reports and documents (for both product-related and non-product related categories).

  • Performs administrative functions on all supplier-related activities by gathering, filing and updating of all documents needed in the implementation of each process to ensure updated and complete documentation.
  • Assists in the accomplishment of all purchasing processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of requests for the distribution of Purchase Order (PO).
  • Ensures the best value for each Scrap Selling Activity by inviting pool of bidders and negotiating the best value for each scrap.
  • Ensures sufficient stock of office supplies by acting as the custodian for all office supplies.
  • Performs other functions which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate of any 4-year business course
  • At least 6 months to one year work related experience
  • Preferably Female
  • Can start ASAP

 
Project Staff Transport Admin

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Logistics Supervisor, responsible in day-to-day monitoring & updating of delivery status based on daily dispatch & received Proof of Delivery documents and issuance of Proof of Delivery clearance, for both inland & inter-island coverage, with direct coordination with GCI Logistics Transport & Managed Services and Finance departments.

  • Maintains up-to-date information of the daily delivery/shipment status (both inland & inter-island) based on daily dispatch data and received Proof of Delivery documents to ensure that all orders reach our customers at the right time and to ensure proper reporting to internal GCI departments
  • Prepares and sends reports to the Logistics Supervisor pertaining to Transport Operations including customer service performance & the liquidated damages/claims for Luzon and Vismin third-party logistics (TPL) service providers.
  • Prepares, issues receives and files documents related to product delivery (including Proof of Delivery) clearance (as a reference for third-party logistics – TPL billings) and TPL transactions by performing the necessary procedures to ensure that all issued delivery invoices to TPL are monitored and accounted for.
  • Maintains record files related to transport delivery transactions by preparing essential reports and invoice logs to ensure that delivery documents are accounted for and readily available as the need arises.
  • Performs administrative functions on all TPL-related activities by gathering, filing and updating of all documents needed in the implementation of each process to ensure updated and complete documentation.
  • Performs other functions which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • College graduate of any course
  • With at least 6 to 1-year work experience in the Logistics Transport function and gained from FMCG industry.
